Kasabach-Merritt syndrome
Kasabach-Merritt Syndrome (KMS) is a rare disease, usually of infants, in which a vascular tumor leads to decreased platelet counts and sometimes other bleeding problems, which can be life-threatening. It is also known as hemangioma thrombocytopenia syndrome.
