Kal vachomer
Kal vachomer is a Rabbinical concept used to interpret and extrapolate Jewish laws from the Tanakh (holy scriptures) and, sometimes, the Mishnah and Baraita (oral laws.) The meaning of the concept is "to determine something more obvious from something less obvious.
