Khatkhate



In Indian Cuisine, Khatkhate is an exotic mixed vegetable stew, a Goan and Konkani dish, made with at least five vegetables, grated coconut, jaggery, kokum, tamarind, tirfala (special spices from Konkan region), dried red chillies, garam masala powder, and turmeric powder. The vegetables include raddish (mooli), potato, sweet potato (ratala), carrots, corn on the cobs, pumpkins (bhopala), and seasonal vegetables available at the time.
