Karl Richard Bechert (August 23, 1901 in Nuremberg, Germany ‐ April 1, 1981 in WeilmĂĽnster-Möttau, Hessen, Germany) was a German theoretical physicist and political leader. As a scientist, his contributions were in atomic physics.
