kamalapuram is a mandal in Kadapa district which is 23 kms away from Kadapa city loacted on the highway of Kadapa - Tadipatri.It is mainly agricultural based mandal where the sub river Papaghni and the major river penna are the main sources for irrigation and drinking purposes.
