KaidĹŤ



A kaidō (Japanese 街道 "road") is an ancient road in Japan dating from the Edo period. Major examples include the five routes starting from Edo: Nakasendō, Tōkaidō, Ōshū Kaidō, Kōshū Kaidō and Nikkō Kaidō.
