Kentucky cave shrimp
The Kentucky cave shrimp (Palaemonias ganteri) is an eyeless, troglodyte shrimp found in caves in three counties of Kentucky. Its skin has no pigment; the species is nearly transparent and closely resembles its nearest relative, the Alabama cave shrimp.
