Karamay
Karamay or Karamai (Uyghur: قاراماي / ; , Wade-Giles: K'o-la-ma-i) is a prefecture-level city in the north of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, in northwestern China. Karamay comes from the Uyghur language, and means "black oil".
