Kalighat Home for the Dying
Kalighat Home for the Dying is a hospital for the poor and sick in Calcutta, India, founded by Mother Teresa. It was an old abandoned Hindu temple to the goddess Kali, the Hindu goddess of death and destruction, before she sought permission to use it.
