KDOC-TV (Channel 56) is an independent television station based in Orange County, California (licensed to Anaheim, with studios and offices in Irvine). The station is owned by Ellis Communications; until Summer 2006, it was owned by locally-based Golden Orange Broadcasting, whose investors included entertainer Pat Boone.
