Kalaeloa, Hawai'i

Kalaeloa is the modern name given to the former Barbers Point Naval Air Station after the military base was listed for closing in 1993 and subsequently transferred to the State of Hawaii. The geographical name, Ka lae loa, means "long point" in Hawaiian and is the native name for what is now called Barbers Point on Oahu.
