Kırklareli (in Ottoman times Kırkkimesne (the forties) or Kırkkilise (forty churches), Greek: Σαράντα Εκκλησιές, Saranta Ekklisyes,; Bulgarian: Лозенград, Lozengrad) is the capital of Kırklareli Province in the European part of Turkey, known as Eastern Thrace.
