Kara KuĹź, Hakkari
Kara KuĹź (Qochanis, also known as Qudshanes or Kotchanes) is a town to the north of Hakkari in the southeastern corner of modern Turkey near the Greater Zab River. It was the seat of the patriarchs of the Church of the East from the 17th century until 1915 .
