Kawasaki-ku, Kawasaki
Kawasaki-ku, or Kawasaki Ward, lies on the eastern edge of Kawasaki, nestled against the mouth of the Tama River and Tokyo Bay. Kawasaki-ku has long been known for the vast numbers of factories situated on landfill at its eastern edges.
