Khartoum



Khartoum (الخرطوم al-Ḫarṭūm "Elephant Trunk") is the capital of Sudan and of Khartoum State. It is located at the point where the White Nile, flowing north from Uganda, meets the Blue Nile, flowing west from Ethiopia.
