Latin American poetry is the poetry of Latin America. It is Spanish- and Portuguese-language poetry written by writers from (starting from the South) Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador, Brazil, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Guatemala, Mexico, the Spanish-speaking portion of Belize, and even the United States.
