Lakeside Association Police Dept.
A special security police formed at the turn of the century to patrol and provide security for the private association, Chatauqua community of Lakeside, Ohio. The two patrolman employed were invested full police powers under the Ohio Revised Code, and were given authority to enforce chatauqua rules and regulations.
