Leadership Industrial Complex
The term leadership-industrial complex (LIC) refers to the self-propagating relationship between the leadership industry, organizations and individuals in leadership positions within those organizations. The term is reflective of the pejorative military-industrial complex, which refers to a close and symbiotic/parasitic relationship between a nation's armed forces, its arms industry and associated political interests.
