Lal Krishna Advani



Lal Krishna Advani (Sindhi: लाल कृष्ण आडवाणी) also known as Lal Kishenchand Advani (born November 8, 1927, Karachi, British India) was the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) until year-end 2005 and is Leader of the Opposition in the 14th Lok Sabha. He is a prominent figure in his party and was the Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister in the Indian government (1998-2004).
