La Manche, Newfoundland and Labrador
La Manche is a coastal community in the southeast portion of the island of Newfoundland between Cape Broyle and Burnt Cove that was resettled after a major storm on January 28, 1966. The resulting storm wiped away a large portion of the community and caused the remaining residents to resettled shortly thereafter.
