Laser-assisted uvulopalatopharyngoplasty

Laser-assisted uvulopalatopharyngoplasty (or LAUP) is a variation of Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty, in which a laser is used to remove tissue rather than a scalpel. At the present time, LAUP is sometimes used in an attempt to address loud snoring.
