Laascaanood
Las Anod, Lasanod, or Laascaanood is the administrative capital of regional state Sool, in Somalia and comes under Puntland regional government. The city was part of the former British Somaliland Protectorate, which gained independence from the United Kingdom on 26 June 1960.
