Latgale



Latgale or Latgalia (, Latgalian: Latgola; Polish: Łatgalia; German: Lettgallen; Russian: Латгалия) is one of the four cultural regions of Latvia recognised in the Constitution of the Latvian Republic. It is the easternmost region north of the Daugava river.
