Laker Airways

Laker Airways was a wholly privately owned, Independent British airline founded by the late Sir Freddie Laker and his first son Kevin, who pre-deceased him soon after the airline's inception in 1966 as a result of a motoring accident on the A23 London-Brighton trunk road near Gatwick Airport. It originally was a charter airline flying passengers and cargo worldwide.
