Lawson Tait
Lawson Tait, born Robert Lawson Tait May 1, 1845 in Edinburgh, Scotland, became a pioneer in pelvic and abdominal surgery and developed new techniques and procedures. He emphasized asepsis and reduced surgical mortality significantly.
