Lean Government

Lean Government is a term used mainly in the United States and Canada for the belief that the State should employ only just as many people as are necessary to perform its tasks. The Lean Government concept favors a fairly small State, and Lean Government proponents generally believe that the government should cut out "waste" and "inefficiency" from the State, and are in favor of low taxes.
