Legacy of Cain
The Legacy of Cain is an unfinished cycle of novellas by the 19th century Austro-Hungarian author Leopold von Sacher-Masoch. The 36 novellas were to be grouped into six books of six stories each, with each volume titled according to its central theme; those are "Love", "Property", "the State", "War", "Work", and "Death".
