LaGrande Technology

Trusted Execution technology, formerly known as LaGrande Technology is a key component of Intel's initiative of 'safer computing', aimed at giving users, especially in the business segment, a way to defend themselves against software-based attacks aimed at stealing sensitive information. It consists of a series of hardware enhancements, to allow for the creation of multiple separated execution environments, or partitions.
