Le roi malgré lui (English: 'The King in Spite of Himself') is an opéra-comique in three acts by Emmanuel Chabrier with an original libretto by Emile de Najac and Paul Burani. It was premiered on 18 May 1887 at the Opéra-comique in Paris.
