Legislative Council of Canada
The Legislative Council of Canada was the upper house of the bicameral structure of provincial government in the United Provinces of Canada from 1841 to 1867. The upper house consisted of executive councillors whom voted on bills passed up from the Legislative Assembly of Canada.
