Marcel Bigeard
Marcel Bigeard (born on 14 February, 1916) was a French military officer who fought at the Battle of Dien Bien Phu and is thought by many to have been a dominating influence on French 'unconventional' warfare thinking from that time onward. He remains highly regarded in French circles even today for his leadership and publicised exploits.
