March 2002 Islamabad church bombing



The 2002 Islamabad church bombing occured on March 17, 2002 at 11:00 AM when two members of the Lashkar i Jhangvi, a banned terrorist organization affiliated with Al Qaeda that operates in Pakistan, bombed the International Protestant Church. Five people were killed and 40 people were injured, mostly expatriates.
