Marcin Knackfus
Marcin Knackfus (before 1742-after 1821) was a Polish architect, notable for his numerous Classicist buildings in Vilnius (), Lithuania. Among them is the famous astronomical observatory there (1782-1786), the internal design of the main buildings of the Academy of Vilna (the predecessor of the Vilnius University) and numerous other buildings, both private and public.
