Male hormonal contraceptive

The “male pill” is colloquial term for a male oral contraceptive, a counterpart to the “the Pill” for women, which is a hormonal contraceptive taken daily by the oral (mouth) route of administration. A true male oral contraceptive, however, will not likely be a hormonal contraceptive.
