Major Charles Alva Dale and SSG David Stanley Demmon



Major Charles Alva Dale, and Staff Sergeant David Stanley Demmon, were United States Army soldiers whose plane crashed or was shot down during the Vietnam War on June 9, 1965. Whether they were killed in the crash, died later in Viet Cong custody, or still remain alive today is unknown, but Dale's official status was declared Missing in Action and Demmon's was declared Prisoner of War.
