Magnús Magnússon KBE (, October 12 1929 – January 7 2007) was a television presenter, journalist, translator and writer of Icelandic origin who never took British citizenship but lived in Scotland for nearly all his life. He came to fame as presenter of the BBC television quiz programme Mastermind, which he hosted for 25 years.
