Maria Kannon Zen Center
Maria Kannon Zen Center is a lay Buddhist organization practicing in the Sanbo Kyodan lineage (incorporating Soto and Rinzai Zen practice together) established in 1991 by current abbot Ruben Habito in Dallas, TX. Members of Maria Kannon Zen Center come from many different faiths and religions to practice Zen together, an example their founder symbolizes with his unique Jesuit priest (Catholic) and Zen Buddhist background.
