Mariko Shiga
was an idol star and seiyū born in either Funabashi, Chiba Prefecture or Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. She attended and graduated from Funabashi Municipal High School before enrolling in the University of California, Riverside in 1989.
