Mafikeng



Mafikeng is the capital of the North West Province, South Africa, 1400 kilometres NE of Cape Town and 790 km SSW of Bulawayo by rail, and 260 km in a direct line W by N of Johannesburg. As of 2001 it had a population of 49,300.
