Many-body theory

Many-body theory is an area of physics that is concerned, in general terms, with effects that manifest themselves only in systems containing large numbers of constituents. This incorporates a wide range of phenomena, particularly those in condensed matter physics and nuclear physics, and includes examples in both quantum mechanical and classical statistical physics.
