Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary



Mahananda Wildlife Sanctuary is located on the foothills of Himalayas, between the Teesta and Mahananda rivers. Animal species found here are elephant, Indian bison, tiger, barking deer, Rhesus monkey, leopard, fishing cat, jungle cat, sambar (Cervus unicolor), and cheetal.
