Madrid Accords
The Madrid Accords (1975) were a series of treaties between Spain, Morocco, and Mauritania to partition the territory of Spanish Sahara. In return for Spain's complete withdrawal from the territory, the country would continue to receive 35% of the income from the phosphate mines at Bou Craa.
