Mach tuck



Mach tuck is an aerodynamic effect, whereby the nose of an aircraft tends to pitch downwards as the airflow around the wing reaches speeds close to Mach 1. Note that the aircraft itself can be travelling significantly below Mach 1, and still experience this effect.
