Magellan shrine
The Magellan shrine is a large memorial statue erected in the exacted location were the Portuguese explorer Ferdinand Magellan (Hernándo Magallanes) died in the Battle of Mactan on 1521, Philippines. The statue measures 30 metres high and it is located in the place of Punta Engaño, Mactan Island, Cebu.
