Mardin
Mardin (, Syriac: ܡܶܪܕܺܝܢ Merdīn;) is a city in southeastern Turkey. The capital of Mardin Province, it is known for its Arab-style architecture, and for its strategic location on a rocky mountain overlooking the plains of northern Syria.
