Mageddon
Mageddon is a DC Comics character created by Grant Morrison and Howard Porter. It first appeared in JLA # 37 (2000), although it was mentioned (as Tezcatlipoca) as early as Aztek # 1 in 1996 -- hints about it were made throughout Morrison's run on JLA, since eventually it comes as a crescendo to his run.
