Makasae
Makasae (also known as Makassai, Macassai, Ma'asae, and Makasai) is a Papuan language spoken by about 70,000 people on the eastern part of East Timor, in the districts of Baucau and Viqueque, just to the west of Fataluku. It is not closely related to Fataluku (or other languages), but is part of the same branch of the Trans-New Guinea phylum.
