National Council (Slovenia)
The National Council (Slovenian: DrĹľavni svet) is the constitutional representative of social, economic, professional and local interest groups and can be considered as the upper house of the Slovenian parliament. The council has 40 members, 22 representatives of local interests, six representatives of non-commercial activities, four representatives of employers, four of employees and four representatives of farmers, crafts, trades and independent professionalsAccording to the information that can be found at the website of the National Council.
