N-Acetylgalactosamine



N-Acetylgalactosamine (also called GalNAc, 2-Acetamido-2-deoxy-D-galactopyranose or N-Acetyl-D-galactosamine) is a monosaccharide derivative of glucose. In humans it is the terminal carbohydrate forming the antigen of blood group A.
