National Youth Council of Singapore
The National Youth Council of Singapore (Malay : Majlis Belia Kebangsaan Singapura) otherwise known as the National Youth Council (NYC) is a division of the People's Association. It was set up by the Singapore Government on 1 November 1989 as the national co-ordinating body for youth affairs in Singapore which aims to develop a vibrant, highly-connected and self-sustaining youth sector to nurture the youth to be ready for the world.
